A building in Naples, built to keep cars properly.
Most collections in this county sit in a metal unit off the interstate behind a roll-up door, and the humidity does the rest. REV was drawn up against that: one conditioned, staffed building, run by people who can tell a correctly torqued wheel from a badly torqued one.
Membership is priced by the car rather than the square foot, which keeps the arithmetic honest for a member with one Porsche and for a member with nine. The founding members set the tone of the place, and we are in no particular hurry to fill it.
Climate
Temperature and humidity held steady all year, which in Southwest Florida is most of the job.
Watch
High-end surveillance throughout, and security on site rather than a camera pointed at a door.
Record
A written status report every month: tires, battery, fluids, and anything else we noticed.
Arrive after dark and the house is already lit.
Members turn in off the road and the door is open before anyone has to give a name.
The gallery runs the length of the building.
Members tend to stay longer than they planned.
The Lounge
Upstairs, with the whole floor below you.
Leather, low light and a wall of glass onto the gallery. There is a conference room off it, with WiFi, for the members who insist they have come in to work.
The Bar
The bar keeps its own hours.
A short list, poured properly, and no television above the back bar. Conversation carries.
The Ritual
Espresso, from seven.
Doors open early, and there is a conference room with WiFi off the lounge. Members get a morning's work done here, and meet people worth knowing while they do it.
Detailing and protection work, done in house.
Paint correction, ceramic coating, film and tint, all under one roof. Nothing is sent to a unit across town and returned with swirl marks.

Started, warmed, washed and fueled, facing out. Silverstone and Monaco members can call for it at any hour.
